I saw him once and gave him a big, sad speech... of how I been alone and suffering for years without help. This new doctor gave me Zoloft to try... as I predicted it hasn't worked. I didn't want another something like that, because I had already Remeron, Celexa, Lorazepam prior to that and none of them worked. I tried to ask for something else like Tramadol or Xanax or Valium but he insisted on giving me Zoloft alone this time. So if I'm ever to get something better from him I had to pretend to be content with his decision at that moment, take it and wait a month later to tell him it didn't work and see if I get lucky with what I really want to try. Frankly I'm one of the sickest depression patients and I don't know why these doctors waste my time and prolong my suffering when they can easily give me something that would really work like Oxycodone.How can I successful extract a winning prescription from him the next time I see him and give him the results of Zoloft? I honestly think you don't have to be a doctor to know what would cure you or sustain you. What medications do you recommend would suit me? And which are the most easily obtained? I know there is zero chance of getting Oxycodone. But something else? Other symtoms I have: Zero energy, insomnia, anxiety, ocd, mood swings, negativism, dizzy/lightheadedness/head pains, etc.Thank you, I really appreciate your intelligent and helpful responses.

You are a drug-seeker and your Physician knows it. We are trained to spot it in the ER. Your Doctor is doing the right thing by trying to help you take care of your emotional issues that are manifesting in Physical pain along with other symptoms...Narcotic Prescriptions are VERY Addictive and can be deadly...you need help with your mental issues not Rx Narcotic Pain Relievers...Get Some Help and Best of Luck.

Why dont you see another doctor? Some you can talk to and you feel can actually talk to. It does'nt sound like your doctor is interested. Just explalin clearly, you cannot go on feeling like this and NEED help. I would'nt recommend tramadol, 2 members of my family were taking them for a long period. My partner changed rapidly, snappy/moody/irratable/unable to sleep/sickness and also my son. Both do not take anymore and are much better. Speak to another doc ASAP.

Pain killers such as oxycodone do not help depression but usually make it worse and will make your 0 energy worse. I was on a pill form of morphine and am now on Oxycodone. I am on Zoloft as well and was up to 150MG but am now lowering to 75 MG and soon to be off it because I do not like it. However, if you go into a trial of a medication thinking it wont work, it really wont. Try to be positive.
